| The General Practitioner is arguably one of the most productive salmon and steelhead patterns of all time. In the original colour (orange) the chartreuse, black, purple, pink, and red versions have also caught their fair share of fish. This version of the GP is quite different than the original. Instead of course bucktail or calf tail, Icelandic Sheep hair is used to give the fly a softer flow in the water. The sheep hair also gives off a glow when in extreme light. |
