Micro FlecTube
| Very Similar to our Flextube product, this wonderful new tube source allows you to make a fly with a brilliant translucent looking body. FlecTube comes in a wide range of transparent colours and an outside diameter of 2 MM. Yuri Shumakov wrote an interesting article in Rackelhanen a while back about the transparent qualities of coloured tubes......it's worth a read. This wonderful new tube is unique in that it has flecs (hence the name) of reflective silver materials placed throughout the tube Though designed for smaller patterns this tubing does not need a standard junction tube. Most single hooks (size #2 and smaller) will fit into the end of the actual pattern you create. |
