We have been looking for a more realistic hook pin for years and have not had much luck. So of course, we decided to make our own! This is a great way for your fly to become wearable art, a super way for you to show off your tying talents. Often used as tie pins, or as brooches, we've even tied a few of these as boutonnieres over the years. They seem to be a hit for groomsmen at weddings!

These pins are completely attached to the hooks! Not only are they soldered securely, we also grind down the point where the pin connects to the hook. This gives a look of a more genuine looking fishing fly instead of a pin that kind of looks like a fish hook. We then paint and lacquer over the connection point to make sure all exposed metal is sealed! We also cut off the point and securely attach a bead that is also sealed with lacquer so your treasure will last for decades without corrosion!
