| In experimenting with different furs we stumbled across an unlikely source for creating fantastic wings for Scandinavian style tube flies. This unique fur allows you to make a nice tapered wing that has the same rigidity as bucktail but with a much smaller diameter. We often use Prairie Dog as an under wing because of it`s taper and ability to `hold up`the more delicate wing you may put on top.
